Devesh Sharma Gates Foundation

Devesh Sharma is currently the Program Officer (Financial Services for the Poor) at Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Prior to this, he worked as a consultant in Public Financial Management at the World Bank. He has gained experience by working with the Ministry of Rural Development as Manager of Strategic Initiatives and Program Coordination. Devesh was awarded the Fullbright-Nehru Masters Fellowship for Leadership Development in 2012. He is a chartered accountant and earned his Master’s degree in Public Administration, Political and Economic Development from Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government.
