Beni is a Research Associate with the Future of Finance Initiative. She is interested in the systemic implications of the growing embeddedness of non-financial entities in the financial ecosystem. Previously, she worked with the apex offices of Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry (ASSOCHAM), working closely with the industry and policymakers on sectoral policies. She graduated with Masters in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru (NLSIU), MA in Development Economics from the South Asian University, New Delhi (SAU) and an undergraduate degree in Economics from Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University.
