James Freymuth BMGF

James Freymuth is an Associate Strategy Officer at Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Financial Services for the Poor team. His current focus is on refining the team’s strategy around enabling key data use cases to extend access to financial services and increase the value of those services for the world’s poor. Prior to joining the foundation, James was a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group working with Technology, Telecommunication and Financial Services clients. His work focused primarily on digital transformation, operational improvement and transaction diligence. James holds an MPA from the University of Southern California’s Price School of Public Policy and a B.A. in Philosophy, Politics and Law from the University’s Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences.
