Pankaj Jain DFS - MoF

Mr. Pankaj Jain serves as Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India where he is responsible for Industrial Finance portfolio which encompasses long term financing, housing finance and MSME credit. Mr. Jain also holds additional charge of Managing Director, India Infrastructure Finance Corporation Ltd (IIFCL). Mr. Jain has been a Government Nominee Director at IDBI Bank, Export-Import Bank of India and Small Industries Development Bank of India since 2016. He served as Government Nominee Director of Canara Bank from December 2015 to May 2016 and serves as Government Nominee Director on the Board of National Housing Bank. His areas of interest include financing, governance and Intellectual Property Rights.

He is an alumnus of Shri Ram College of Commerce from where he has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce followed by an MBA from FMS Delhi. He also has a professional qualification in the discipline of accounting as an Associate of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
