Anand Raman is a Financial Sector Specialist in CGAP’s Digital Rails team to build knowledge, practice, and evidence to inform policy. He focuses on market-level infrastructure that allows providers to serve financially excluded populations.
Mr. Raman has over 29 years of experience in digital financial services, IT, Telecoms, and Media. Prior to CGAP, he led banking relationships, policy, product design, and marketing at Eko and devised the agent banking strategy for Jana Small Finance Bank.
Mr. Raman holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Roorkee and a Master’s in International Public Policy from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
