Rahul is a trained officer in merchant navy, MBA from Rotman School at University of Toronto and founder of Fundfina, an embedded finance platform that provides nano and micro businesses access to formal sources of financing. He has over 16 years of entrepreneurial experience in financial services including starting and exiting wealth management firm.
Early days of his professional career out at sea shaped his attitude of getting things done with limited resources at disposal. Whether it was his stint at financial services or working in the hinterland of India with Indian Railways interacting with other businesses, these experiences have helped him develop a deep connection with challenges middle India faces w.r.t. financial services. He cycles to work and loves talking about embedded finance and MSME.
