CGAP
Leena works on digital finance innovations that expand access to financial services to the poor and underserved with a focus on platform workers and MSEs. She has also examined the various components of the digital infrastructure required to build an inclusive digital financial services ecosystem.
Before joining CGAP, she had a leadership role at the H.A.N.D. Foundation. She worked on the World Bank’s World Development Report on sustainable development.
Ms. Datwani holds a Master’s in International Economics and International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies and an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies and Economics from William Smith College. She is based in New Delhi, India.
