Adam Feibelman is the Sumter Davis Marks Professor of Law at Tulane Law School and Director of the Murphy Institute Center on Law and the Economy. His teaching and research focus on bankruptcy law, consumer finance, regulation of financial institutions, legal issues related to sovereign debt and international monetary law.
His recent and current work explores the relationship between bankruptcy and financial regulation, the role of consumer finance in community development, India’s new insolvency and bankruptcy system, and the IMF’s legal framework. He joined the Tulane faculty in 2009. Prior to that, he was a faculty member at the University of North Carolina School of Law and University of Cincinnati School of Law.
