Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and AI
The Robert Bosch Centre for Data Science and AI (RBCDSAI) was set up in 2017 by the IIT Madras. In the last 7 years, they have grown to be the pre-eminent interdisciplinary research centre for Data Science and AI in India. They have one of the country’s largest groups in network analytics and deep reinforcement learning. Dvara Research and RBCDSAI have worked on several action-oriented research projects on the topic of delinquency and debt distress and continue to work closely on topics of mutual interest with the objective of improving the financial lives of low-income households.

XKDR
XKDR is a development research think tank based out of Mumbai. Dvara Research and XKDR have a long-standing relationship and have collaborated in the past on research projects in the area of household finance. Currently, Dvara Research and XKDR are working on an action research project that aims to scale a financial inclusion measurement tool among financial service providers catering to low-income households and expand the narrative from financial inclusion to financial wellbeing.

Microfinance Institutions Network
The Micro Finance India Network is an important stakeholder in the last-mile delivery of finance. It is a significant Self-Regulatory Organization for the micro finance industry. Between 2020-22, Dvara Research collaborated with MFIN to assess customer-centricity of the grievance redress channels operated by MFIN.

Data Security Council of India (DSCI)​
Data Security Council of India (DSCI), is a not-for-profit, industry body on data protection in India, setup by NASSCOM, committed to making the cyberspace safe, secure and trusted by establishing best practices, standards and initiatives in cyber security and privacy. Since 2022, Dvara Research has co-developed with DSCI, two Privacy Handbooks directed at providers in the banking and insurance sectors, and in 2024, it has co-developed a white paper on curbing scams in digital payments (forthcoming).

Financial Access Initiative
The Financial Access Initiative (FAI) is a research center working at the intersection of financial inclusion, development, and poverty. It focuses on exploring how financial services can better meet the needs and improve the lives of poor households. FAI is housed at NYU’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service. The center was founded in 2006 by economists Jonathan Morduch (New York University), Dean Karlan (Northwestern University), and Sendhil Mullainathan (University of Chicago). Dvara Research and FAI have partnered on research projects pertaining to social security of platform economy workers and the impact of COVID-19 moratorium on the microfinance industry.

Dvara KGFS was incorporated in August 2008 by Dvara Trust, a private trust set up with the mission “to ensure that every individual and every enterprise has complete access to financial services.” Dvara KGFS works towards achieving this goal through its network of branches in remote rural areas that offer a range of financial products and services.
