Sowmini is a Senior Research Associate with the Financial Systems Design initiative at Dvara Research. Her research focuses on the design of regulatory frameworks that govern India’s financial markets and customer protection in financial services. She also contributes to the organization’s research efforts on India’s health systems.

Sowmini holds a master’s degree in public policy from the National Law School of India University, Bengaluru and is also a Chartered Accountant. In her previous career as a finance professional, she worked in various capacities in the corporate sector.
